Caol Ila 15 Year Old - Decadent Drams (Decadent Drinks) Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 57.10% - Vintages 2009 and 2010 of Caol Ila single malt whisky were aged for 15 years in refill and first-fill sherry hogsheads. Decadent Drinks married both for two years before bottling the whole thing at 57.1% ABV to create a thick, tarry and unapologetically Islay single malt. It clings to the glass like roof felt, delivering salted liquorice, bacon jam, camphor and seawater over deep sherry sweetness. A big, coastal, umami beast, with just 266 bottles filled.
