70cl / 59.80% - The third annual cask strength release from Lochlea Distillery marks a bold step forward and a smoky new direction. Matured in a combination of oloroso sherry butts and Islay peated casks, this is the first time the distillery has introduced peat into its limited-edition series, and it's been led from start to finish by Lochleas master blender Jill Boyd.The result is a complex, full-bodied dram where rich red fruits and treacle collide with savoury BBQ smoke and warming spice. It's bottled at a robust 59.8% ABV with no chill-filtration or added colouring.
