70cl / 55.80% - New Riff uses 100% malted rye to make this Kentucky straight whiskey, and this edition finished its six-year maturation in a host of oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Malting the rye brings a gentle mellowness to the prominent spice character you'd normally expect from a rye, coupled with the decadent fruit and spice character from the casks, it's an excellent and unusual sipper.
