How often does a whisky legend personally nose and select casks for a collection that honours his contribution to the spirit?Port Charlotte 9.2 was distilled on 26 October 2007 and was aged in a first-fill Vosne Romanee barrique (cask #5) for 16 years. The small commune of Vosne-Romanee in the Cote de Nuits region is known for creating extraordinary Pinot Noir wines and boasts eight Grand Cru vineyards. Its finesse, depth, and intensity of rich, fruitiness are held in high regard. The single malt Scotch whisky you see before you was bottled in January 2024 as Release 9.2 and like everything in the collection, it was presented un-chill filtered, with no added colour and at a cask strength (in this case, 62.4% ABV).
