70cl / 50.80% - The world's first whisky finished in a sauna, Kyro Sauna Stories No.1 is a 100% malted rye Finnish whisky aged in new American oak and Jamaican rum (bottled by Planteray Rum) casks, which were left to mature in a sauna. The founders of the distillery conceived the idea of Kyro in a sauna, so this is a nice full-circle moment for the brand. It's also an intriguing idea as it's a maturation climate hotter than most natural settings can achieve like the tropical setting lots of rums age in.
