This 55-year-old sherry cask matured single malt certainly sets a precedent for the series, and as its oldest official bottling to date, makes a fitting tribute to the distillery's 200th anniversary. We're informed that only 100 bottles exist globally, and just six are available in the UK. The glass decanter is decorated with rose gold plating and enamel, and comes accompanied by some fascinating display packaging, created in collaboration with computational architect and artist Michael Hamsmeyer. There's an artistic glorifier designed to display the bottle, creating a showpiece that looks almost sculptural and a glass plinth to support the bottle within the glorifier.
