Holyrood Ambir Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 49.80% - Holyrood Distillery celebrated its fifth birthday with the launch of this single malt whisky, Ambir. It follows Holyrood Distillerys sold-out inaugural whisky, Arrival and its peated whisky, Embra.Through each of its limited releases, the Edinburgh whisky maker wants to showcase a different flavour profile or style and Ambir is a showcase of specialty malts like Crystal 240 and Caramalt. It was bottled at 49.8% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no artificial colour.The name, Ambir, comes from the rich, amber colour of the liquid, adding a Scots twist to reflect this relationship between old and new to symbolise how Holyrood incorporates traditional practices with modern thinking.
