Annandale Man OWords Vintage 2018 - Fino Sherry Butt 2018 (cask 397) Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 60.40% - Annandale Distillery's 'Malt of the Month' for November 2023 celebrates the stylish sherry that is fino, a variety of light-coloured, dry fortified wine from Spain which is produced from the Palomino grape and matured under a layer of yeast called flor. This prevents oxidisation and creates nutty, salty flavours that can be transferred to the whisky during maturation. Cask #397 did just that in this Man O'Words expression, which was bottled at 60.4% ABV.
