70cl / 40.20% - The first in a new series from Laphroaig, The Archive Collection is all about highly limited, generously aged single malts from the legendary Islay distillery. This 36-year-old single malt kicks off the series in style, housed in custom-made hand-blown glass bottles that are inspired by the sea glass found on Islay's beaches. Initially matured in bourbon barrels, the whisky was then treated to a rest in second-fill oloroso casks, imparting subtle sweetness and spice to the classic coastal peat at its core. A release of 400 cask strength bottles.
