Quinta da Pedra Alta Pedra a Pedra Branco 2022 White Wine
75cl / 11.50% - The Douro valley, long-famed for Port, is home to some increasingly good table wines these including some great whites. This is made from a blend of local grapes, gouveio and rabigato. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for eight month which adds a delightful creaminess to the fresh fruit. As an added bonus this is only 11.5% ABV making the perfect lunchtime sort of wine. Serve with shellfish, chicken or soft sheep's cheese.
