Octomore 14.2 5 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 57.70% - From peaty powerhouses Octomore we welcome a new smokeshow of whiskies. 14.2 5 Year Old was made much like 14.1, distilled from 100% Scottish barley that was malted to 128.9 ppm. For this whisky, however, maturation took place in a combination of oloroso and Amarone casks. Smoke and sherry is a classic pairing so this should be good.
