70cl / 47.20% - Decidedly smoky rye whisky from the Kyro team in Finland. The rye used for this expression was smoked with alder wood, which they say can impart hints of smoked ham and campfire smoke. Blend that with the aromatic spiciness of rye and the creamy, vanilla-rich notes imparted by maturation in ex-bourbon, French oak, and new American white oak barrels, and you've got a spectacular spirit on your hands.
