Meerlust Chardonnay 2020 White Wine
75cl / 13.50% - Meerlust is one of South Africa's oldest and most famous estate. It's best known wine is Rubincon, a red Bordeaux blend, but it's equally good at white wine. This is matured for up to a year in French oak barrels, around 50% of which are new, to create a spicy nutty white that would be superb with all kinds of fish dishes especially if butter is involved.
