Unlike some wines from Chianti which have French varieties like merlot, this is made from 100% sangiovese creating an hugely distinctive and uncompromising wine. This is the riserva bottling so it's made from the best grapes and in a more intense style that can stand medium-term ageing. Decant and serve with roast lamb for an unforgettable experience.
