Westport 15 Year Old 2006 (cask 900214) The Macnab - Farlows (Heroes & Blended Malt Whisky
70cl / 50.00% - Independent bottlers Heroes & Heretics have sourced a beautiful 15-year-old Westport aged in a single hogshead cask (#900214). It was distilled back on 31 October 2006 and bottled on 24 October 2022 at 50% ABV, with an outturn of 300 bottles. Westport refers to Glenmorangie whisky combined with a teaspoon of another distillery so what we have here is a teaspoon malt. The branding is based on the novel John Macnab, in which three well-respected members of society attempt to take a stag, a salmon, and a brace of grouse within 48 hours. For this range, Heroes & Heretics have teamed up with William Evans, Cordings, and Farlows to represent each three, with the bottling you see before you honouring Farlows.
