50cl / 63.60% - Smashing stuff from the FEW distillery in Illinois. This rye whisky follows FEW's standard high rye mash bill consisting of 70% Midwestern rye, 20% local corn, and 10% malted barley. Fermented with wine yeast from Frances Loire Valley, the whisky is matured in air-dried oak barrels. You might have noticed the glorious ruby hue of this six-year-old expression, and that's because it was treated to a finish in a Port cask before being bottled up by That Boutique-y Whisky Company to join its USA Series. Batch 5 is a release of 398 bottles.That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
