70cl / 55.30% - A cracking cask strength single malt from Caol Ila, released by independent bottler Wilson & Morgan to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Distilled in 2009, the whisky spent a dozen years maturing, including a finish in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, before being bottled up at cask strength in 2022. With layers of meaty peat smoke and woody spice, it's a fab expression from the Islay distillery.
