70cl / 48.40% - An independently bottled single grain Scotch from the North British Distillery up in Edinburgh, released by Douglas Laing as part of the Old Particular series. Distilled in March 2003, this one spent 18 years mellowing, including a finish in a single refill butt. In February 2022, the cask was opened, yielding an outturn of 183 bottles of this fruity, syrupy sipper.
