70cl / 57.40% - Tremendous 12 year old single malt Scotch from Deanston, distilled in 2007 and matured for a total of 12 years. The final two years were spent resting in ex-Calvados casks, and the crisp wafts of sharp green apple certainly add a splendid twist to the honey sweetness at its core. Cracking stuff for sipping on a warm evening, though this ought to make a fab winter warmer too.
