70cl / 57.40% - Single malt Scotch from Ardmore, distilled in 2008 and matured in a single bourbon hogshead, before finishing in a Moor Beer stout cask. After 13 years, the whisky was independently bottled by Murray McDavid for its Benchmark series. The creamy malt character from the stout cask mingles happily with the classic earthen smoke notes of Ardmore's whisky this ought to be an ideal dram to enjoy after a nice glass of craft beer.
