Rock Island Mezcal Cask Edition Blended Malt Whisky
70cl / 46.80% - Douglas Laing has finished its Rock Island blended malt Scotch whisky in mezcal casks which is rather intriguing indeed. The whisky itself is made with a host of whiskies from Scotland's whisky producing islands, including Jura, Orkney, Arran, and Islay. After blending, it was given a 12 month finishing period in mezcal casks, bolstering the smoky, earthy notes of the whisky. 1,500 bottles were produced.
