Pol Roger Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill 2013 Vintage Champagne
75cl / 12.50% - Behold, the 20th vintage of Pol Roger's excellent Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill. As you probably guessed, this Champagne was produced in homage to the former prime minister, made with a secret combination of grapes, rumoured to include a majority of Pinot Noir grapes and a smaller proportion of Chardonnay. The wine is then rested for a lengthy period of time (over seven years.), developing a wealth of bright citrus, ripe orchard fruit, and hallmark buttery brioche flavours.
