50cl / 51.50% - That Boutique-y Whisky Company has taken a trip down under for its Return to Oz series, and managed to get hold of this smashing single malt from the Limeburner's distillery. Located in southwestern Australia, a region renowned for its wine production, the cool climate, quality water, and of course local access to an array of casks make it an ideal location for a distillery. This five-year-old single malt enjoyed its maturation in an Australian Apera wine cask, a sweet wine produced with Pedro Ximenez grapes. Expect plenty of rich chocolate, tannic oak, and dried berries here.Batch 1 is a release of 434 bottles.That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles limited edition whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
