70cl / 50.30% - Here we have the inaugural whisky from Derby's White Peak Distillery. This beauty was mashed, fermented, distilled, and matured on-site, a full lifecycle at the Wire Works location that gives the distillery its name. It's made from a combination of both unpeated and peated malt, and benefits from a slow four-day fermentation and the use of fresh, live yeast from a local Derbyshire brewery to create a unique spirit profile, which is then accentuated by a combination of ex-bourbon and STR casks.This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch.
