Caisteal Chamuis 12 Year Old Blended Malt Whisky
70cl / 46.00% - This expression from Mossburn's Caisteal Chamuis range is a marvellous blended malt Scotch whisky made with Island malts that have been matured for 12 years in refill American oak hogsheads, and then given a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks. The peaty notes of the Island whiskies blends deliciously with the sweet dried fruit notes from the sherry casks, making for a satisfying expression. The name Caisteal Chamuis comes from a castle that you'll find up on the Isle of Skye, which is a neat connection.
