Dalmore 30 Year Old 2021 Edition Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 42.80% - This right here is an incredible 30 year old expression from Dalmore. The distillery in the Highlands is well-known for getting its hands on some fantastic casks to mature and finish its whisky in, and that is exactly what has happened for this particular expression. It was initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels, after which it was transferred to casks tawny Port pipes from one of the top Port producers Graham's. Specifically, these Port pipes held 30 year old tawny Port, which seems appropriate for a 30 year old single malt Scotch whisky.
