Orkney 15 Year Old 2006 (cask 18701) - The First Editions (Hunter Lain Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 62.80% - A somewhat mysterious indie bottling here from Hunter Laing's First Editions range. It was produced by an Orkney distillery but that distillery remains a mystery. There aren't many whisky distilleries on Orkney, mind, so that sort of narrows it down a fair bit. Anyway, it was distilled in 2006 and left to age in a refill hogshead for 15 years, before being bottled up in 2021. Only 309 bottles were produced.
