50cl / 59.40% - This right here is the first batch of rum matured in a virgin oak cask from the Ninefold Distillery to be bottled up by That Boutique-y Rum Company. Ninefold is based up in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, where it makes rum with Dr. Kit Carruthersin charge of the operation. With three-to-four day fermentations with multiple yeast strains, and a 500-litre pot still to helm, Dr. Kit must be busy indeed but from the label, it looks like he's also had the time to learn the Highland Reel alongside Boutique-y's very own Peter Holland, a seraphim, and a cat in a kilt.
