70cl / 57.80% - A cracking single malt from the legendary Laphroaig Distillery, independently bottled up by The Character of Islay Whisky Company. This one was aged for 15 years, allowing plenty of time for its flavour profile to develop and mature, before being bottled as part of The Stories of Wind & Wave range, which is a showcase of terrific Islay whiskies. Which this one is. It's marvellous, it's from Islay, and it's whisky, so it ticks all three boxes. Ideal.
