Glenglassaugh 10 Year Old 2009 (cask 559) Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 55.90% - A single cask, smoky Glenglassaugh. Released as part of the distillery's Coastal Cask Collection, it was distilled from peated barley in 2009 (just a year after it restarted production once more) and left to mature in a single bourbon cask in the Highland coastal warehouses. Just 191 bottles were released. Interestingly, the cask number for this one was #559, while the whisky itself was bottled at 55.9% ABV. We don't know if this was planned, but we find it pretty cool all the same.
