Albino Rocca Barbaresco Ronchi 2016 Red Wine
75cl / 14.50% - The Rocca family has been growing grapes in Piedmont for generations, but only began bottling wine under its own name in 1971. In Barbaresco, the winery showcases Nebbiolo grapes, and this 2016 vintage has been aged in large 20-hectolitre neutral oak barrels, helping to accentuate the grape's character rather than imparting lots of woody notes. A fabulous vintage that should be good to drink now with suitably hearty food.
