Glenfiddich Finest Solera - Cask Collection Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 48.00% - A pretty snazzy release from Glenfiddich's Cask Collection, Finest Solera was originally released for travel retail. It's matured in American oak bourbon casks, which are then married in a Portuguese oak solera tun (which can hold up to 20 of these casks). Different casks are selected to for each batch (so no two are ever the same), and malt master Brian Kinsman ensures the tun always remains at least half full. Less than 1,000 bottles are produced each batch, and what's more, each decanter is hand-blown and individually numbered, and comes complete with a very fancy presentation box.
