Belgrove grows its own grains to make its whisky, and even uses biofuel, which is cooking oil from a nearby roadhouse, to fire the still. This expression here is a 4 year old rye, with smoky spices and fruity brightness galore. Also, the label features a rather well-known chef, who happened to visit the distillery...Batch 1 is a release of 340 bottles.That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
