70cl / 48.00% - Another brilliant release in Highland Park's Orcadian Vintage Series. This 1970 vintage single malt was left to slumber in a combination of refill butts and hogsheads for four decades, specially selected by whisky maker Max MacFarlane himself. The casks were emptied in 2010 and bottled at 48% ABV, boasting notes of caramelised pineapple, peat smoke and lemon peels.
