70cl / 55.60% - A magnificently well-aged single grain, single cask Cameronbridge. This whisky left the stills back in January 1978, and was then left in a single refill barrel for the next four decades. Once these many moons had passed, Douglas Laing bottled it up for its aptly-named Xtra Old Particular series, with 200 cask strength bottles released at 55.6% ABV. Gloriously buttery and spiced, this one.
