Kingsbarns Family Reserve 2020 Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 59.20% - Behold, the first release in the Kingsbarns Family Reserve series. Featuring the same recipe as the fab Dream To Dram expression, this Lowland single malt was matured in a combo of first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and shaved, toasted and re-charred wine casks. It was given a few months in marrying casks to allow the flavour profile to intensify before being bottled at cask strength. Enjoyably fruit-forward, with oaky spices bolstered on the palate.
