70cl / 51.40% - A lesser-spotted Pittyvaich single malt here, bottled up for Diageo's Special Releases 2019. This expression from the long-closed distillery was aged for 29 years, enjoying a double maturation in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry seasoned bodega casks before being bottled at 51.4% ABV. The overall theme of the Special Released 2019 is 'Rare by Nature', which is why the label features... Sort sort of fowl. Honestly, we're not 100% sure what type of bird that is.
