The series was released originally for the Travel Retail market, inspired by the 125th anniversary of the SS Bushmills maiden voyage. The Irish single malt has been matured in first-fill Caribbean rum casks, with the expression inspired by SS Bushmills homeward bound journey that included a stop in St. Vincent in the Caribbean, where the ship was stocked with rum to bring back to The Old Bushmills Distillery.
