The Philosopher's Daughter Gin
50cl / 40.00% - John Dee, one of the most revered philosophers of the Elizabethan age, was tasked with finding the recipe for the Elixir of Life by Elizabeth I. However, The Philosophers Daughter Gin is named after Dees daughter Kathrine, who also carefully selected many of the botanicals for her father, who she supported until his death at the age of 81. Mirroring the botanicals chosen by Kathrine, this gin includes rosehip peel, rose petal, apple and cherry. A great pairing with elderflower tonic to enhance those floral notes, with a ribbon of pink grapefruit.
