Port Ellen 35 Year Old 1982 (cask 12282) - Xtra Old Particular Platin Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 54.40% - Released in celebration of Douglas Laing's 70th anniversary, this sublime single malt from Port Ellen was distilled in November 1982 and matured for 35 years in a single refill butt until October 2018. It was bottled without any chill-filtration or additional colouring at 54.4% ABV for the Xtra Old Particular Platinum series, with an outturn of just 273 bottles. Superb single malt from a long-closed and legendary Islay distillery - that's certainly one way to celebrate your 70th anniversary.
