Pearse Lyons Cooper's Select Blended Whiskey
70cl / 42.00% - From the Pearse Lyons new core range, the Cooper's Select was crafted using a blend of malt and grain Irish whiskies that had were matured in ex-bourbon casks for over 4 years and then vatted together for at least another 4 years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at natural colour like all its companions. Cooper's Select was named in tribute to the vital job coopers do, and the influence that wood has on a whiskey. Pearse Lyons was especially appreciative of the role of a cooper as his family on his mothers side, the Dunnes, were a family of Coopers for generations. One of them, Margaret Dunne, was actually the first female cooper in Ireland.
