Dumbarton 53 Year Old 1964 (cask 14926) - The Sovereign (Hunter Laing) Grain Whisky
70cl / 46.00% - Incredibly old single grain Scotch whisky from a closed distillery - and it's quite exciting indeed. It was distilled by Dumbarton all the way back in 1964 and filled into a single bourbon barrel, where it slumbered for 53 years. After that lengthy snooze, the whisky was bottled by Hunter Laing for The Sovereign range, producing just 192 bottles.
