Camarena's distillery, El Pandillo, the Pasote Anejo is the longest aged tequila from this range, spending one year in American ex-bourbon barrels. Mellowing the more prominent roasted agave of the Blanco or the Reposado, the anejo is still decidedly light in colour, and marks a sophisticated and mature alternative to the more overstated anejo examples that have flooded the industry.
