70cl / 57.30% - Braeval, as it's now known, is a distillery in Speyside that was founded in 1973 as Braes of Glenlivet. This is an independent bottling of their 25 year old single malt Scotch whisky, presented by Douglas Laing as part of their Xtra Old Particular. It was distilled in May 1990 and left to age in a refill hogshead until December 2015, when it was bottled with an outturn of just 9 bottles(.).
