Invergordon - Batch 3 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Grain Whisky
50cl / 49.80% - It seems that no one has quite plucked up the courage to tell That Boutique-y Whisky Company how "Coffey still" is spelled, as they're onto the 3rd batch of incredible Invergordon single grain Scotch whisky and they've still not got it quite right on the label. The general shape of the Coffey still diagram seems fine (even if there are no more Coffey stills at the Invergordon distillery), but the output seems a lot more... Caffeinated than you would expect. Never-the-less, these Boutique-y Invergordon releases are such phenomenal releases that it almost makes you forgive them for the mix-up. Almost. Batch 3 is a release of 60 bottles.That Boutique-y Whisky Company bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
