70cl / 60.00% - Irish Poteen or Poitin was outlawed in Ireland in the 17th century and it was only in the late 1990s that this finally changed. Often thought of as 'Irish moonshine' it can be made from grain or potatoes but Knockeen Hills are unique in using whey for their spirit.This 60% 'Farmer's Strength' release is triple distilled and scored 92 at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2012.
