70cl / 53.00% - This edition of Retribution English whisky was matured in a single Oloroso hogshead (cask W006), which has dialled the spirit toward rich fruit and nutty sweetness while letting the creamy new make character shine through. Maris Otter malt from Warminster Maltings replaces Laureate here, and it shows its worth, adding depth that plays brilliantly with direct-fired copper pot distillation. The release is limited to 370 bottles, filled to 53% ABV.
