Octomore 16.2 Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 58.10% - A sibling to 16.1, the 16.2 release uses the same Scottish mainland Concerto barley peated to 101.4ppm, but instead of bourbon it has matured in a rich mix of Oloroso and Bordeaux casks before being finished in Madeira and Moscatel. Bottled at 58.1% ABV, it shows how cask influence can transform the Octomore character into something richly layered and indulgent.
