Port Charlotte OLC:01 2010 Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 55.10% - Another peated Port Charlotte expression from Bruichladdich, released as part of the Cask Exploration series. OLC:01 was distilled in 2010, and then rested in a combination of bourbon, Syrah and vin doux naturel casks. In 2019, the whisky was transferred to Oloroso sherry hogsheads for its final 18 months of ageing. A complex balance of dried fruit sweetness, oily nuts and citrus is to be found among the fragrant peat smoke in this one.This bottle was part of a private collection and will show signs of wear if of a certain vintage - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch.
