Dailuaine 18 Year Old 1996 (cask 13829) - The First Editions (Hunter L Single Malt Whisky
70cl / 55.10% - A delightful Dailuaine from the ever-wonderful Hunter Laing, this one has seen nearly two decades of ageing. After it was distilled in 1996, the single malt was filled into a single refill hogshead where it rested for the next 18 years. Eventually it was bottled at cask strength, with 268 bottles released at 55.1% ABV for The First Editions series. There's some bright tropical fruit in there among the spicier notes.
